Information we use
- Checkout information: your chosen plan, whether you select the launch offer, and records of checkout attempts.
- Order information: the email address you enter in Stripe Checkout, your payment status, amount, currency, refund status, payment and checkout references, order dates and the plan you purchased.
- Support information: your contact details and the information you send us when you ask a question or request a cancellation.
- Technical information: our hosting and payment providers may process your IP address, browser information and request details to deliver and protect their services.
You enter your email and payment details directly in Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe shares your email with us to support your order. We do not collect or store your full card number or card security code on this website.
Why we use it
We use your email and order information to arrange your preorder, process payment, provide purchase confirmation, handle support and cancellations, and prepare access to your selected plan from 25 December 2026. This processing is necessary to enter into and fulfil our contract with you. Your email is needed to complete a preorder.
We also use checkout records to keep payments secure and maintain accurate orders. We rely on our legitimate interest in preventing misuse and resolving payment problems. We keep information required for accounting, tax and other legal obligations on the basis of those obligations.
Entering your email for checkout does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Payment and hosting providers
Stripe processes payments and receipts. It receives your email, plan and payment information and also uses information for its own security, fraud-prevention and legal responsibilities. Read Stripe’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare hosts this website and its checkout services. We store checkout and order records in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare processes information to provide and protect those services. Its data processing terms describe its handling of customer data and international transfer safeguards.
These providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their published policies and data processing terms explain the safeguards for those transfers. Contact us for further information about the arrangements used for your data.
We may also share relevant records when legally required or to resolve a payment dispute.
Cookies and storage
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores a checkout reference in your browser for the current tab so you can retry an interrupted checkout. Checkout and infrastructure providers may use storage or cookies needed for payment functionality, security and fraud prevention, as explained in their policies.
How long we keep information
We retain order information for as long as it is needed to provide the purchased service and meet accounting, legal or dispute-resolution obligations. We retain incomplete checkout and support records only for as long as needed to resolve the checkout or handle the enquiry. The purpose of the record, any outstanding issue and applicable legal requirements determine how long it is needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some information may need to be retained for contractual or legal reasons.
Email [email protected] to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk.
